Janis Joplin was a magnificent American singer songwriter who is widely regarded as one of the top artists of all time.

Janis Joplin had two tattoos on her body, one being a flower like bracelet on her left wrist and a heart tattoo on her chest.

Concerning her tattoos she said: "I wanted some decoration. See, the one on my wrist is for everybody, the one on my breast is for me and my friends, just a little treat for the boys, like icing on the cake."

Norah Jones Tattoo

Norah Jones is a sensational American singer-songwriter, pianist, keyboardist, guitarist and actress.

Norah Jones has a single visible tattoo design which is located on her lower back, however it is rather difficult to see clearly from this photo, perhaps its a sun or flower tattoo?

Joan Jett Tattoos

Joan Jett is an American rock guitarist and singer-songwriter, known for her work with the Blackhearts and for hit songs such as I Love Rock 'n' Roll and Bad Reputation.

Joan Jett has numerous tattoos on her body, which includes an Ohm symbol on the back of her neck, plus an inverted triangle on her left upper arm, along with a tribal armband that resembles several intertwined ichthys.

The rock star has a few other tattoos including an artsy spiral design on her left forearm, a unique V design on her chest and an unknown tattoo design on her lower back.

Shooter Jennings Tattoos

Shooter Jennings is an American singer-songwriter, known for his work in the country music and Southern rock genres. He is also the son of country singer Waylon Jennings.

Shooter Jennings has a handful of tattoos on his body, including the "Flying W" logo of Waylon Jennings, located on his abdomen.

He has a few tattoos on both arms, including a six shooter revolver on his inner left forearm and a bullet on his right hand.

Shooter Jennings has a few more tattoos on his arms, however we can't confirm the designs.

Ja Rule Tattoos

Ja Rule is an excellent American rapper, singer and actor, known for hit singles such as Between Me and You and Always on Time.

Ja Rule has an array of tattoos on his body, mainly on his chest, arms and back, including the phrase "Hit Man" with a target on his chest, along with the phrase "Pain is Love" and another section of script.

The rapper also has a large back piece tattoo which contains two angel wings, a halo and two large flaming crosses.

Ja Rule has several tattoo designs on both arms, including many roman numerals on his left forearm and bicep.

Janet Jackson Tattoos

Janet Jackson is a sensational American recording artist and actress, known for an array of hit songs and albums, including The Velvet Rope and Rhythm Nation.

Janet Jackson has five visible tattoos on her body, including Mickey & Minnie Mouse in a sexual position, located on the right side of her bikini line.

Maja Ivarsson has a couple of tattoos which we have spotted, including an 80's rocker style pinup girl on her right arm.

Her other tattoo appears to be a tribal sun, which is located on the inner half of her left forearm.

Natalie Imbruglia is a magnificently talented Australian singer-songwriter, model and actress, perhaps best known for her hit song entitled, Torn.

Natalie Imbruglia has three tattoos on her body, including the Chinese word for courage on her left foot.

The singers other tattoo designs include, the Sanskrit inscription "Shreya" located on the back of her neck, along with the Sanskrit "Ohm" on her lower back.

Billy Idol Tattoos

Billy Idol is a terrific iconic English rock musician, known as a member of the punk rock band Generation X, along with having extremely successful solo career.

Billy Idol has single tattoo which we are aware of, the tattoo design is of the Russian comic superheroine named "Octobriana" and is located on his left bicep.

Josh Homme is an excellent American rock musician, known for being the lead singer of Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures.

Josh Homme has an array of tattoos on his body, including the nicknames of his grandparents "Cap" and "Cam" on his knuckles.

The artist has "Freitag 4.15" along with a straight razor with "Born to Win" tattooed on his right forearm, along with his nickname "Baby Duck".

Some of his other tattoos include, a five hearts design on his left forearm, plus a string of six hearts on the back portion of his right forearm.

It has also been said that Josh Homme has his daughters name "Camille" tattooed over his heart, along with other possible tattoo designs.
